Tour Itinerary

01

Day 1

Windhoek

Welcome to Namibia! Today you will be picked up by your guide and taken to your accommodation near the city center of the capital of Namibia, Windhoek, meaning the ''windy corner''. If your plane doesn't arrive too late, you will be doing a short city tour of the city before heading towards your accommodation. After refreshing, your guide will explain the tour and will be able to answer all of your questions. Enjoy later on a traditional dinner in town in the famous restaurant 'Joe's beer house'.

Day 2

Mariental

We leave the capital of the country to one of the most famous semi deserts in the world, the Kalahari Desert. Here we will be spending one night. In the afternoon we will depart on a cultural experience where you will get up close with the San people, also known and the Bushman. Get to learn from their way of life before heading back to the accommodation and enjoying a lovely dinner.

Days 3 & 4

Khalahari Desert

After breakfast we leave to our accommodation which is in the heart of the Kalahari. Here we will be spending two nights doing game drives, Lion tracking, and enjoying an amazing dinner in the dunes under the African sky.

Day 5

Keetmanshopp

Today we drive towards the South to head towards the little town of Keetmanshoop. Once in the town we will go straight to visit the famous Quiver Tree forest as well as the Mesosaurus fossil. We then head towards our guesthouse where we will be staying for one night. Dinner at the guesthouse

Days 6 & 7

Orange River

In the morning we head towards the boder with South Africa, where the Orange River seperate both countries. The Orange River, South Africa’a largest river. The River rises in the Drakensberg range 15 km’s south of Mont-aux-Sources and flows 2340km’s westwards until it reaches the Atlantic Ocean at Oranjemund. Enjoy a free afternoon. The next day will get to experience a morning of paddling down the majestic Orange River with beautiful scenery and wildlife. In contrast to the starkly barren Richtersveld surroundings. Return to camp in the afternoon.

Days 8 & 9

Fish River Canyon

After breakfast we head towards the edge of the Fish River canyon. Once at the campsite we will pitch up camp and head towards the view point to see the Fishriver canyon. We will take a short walk along the edge of the canyon and experience amazing views. Back to camp for dinner. The following day we will embark on a hike in the Gondwana Canyon Reserve. The hiking trail takes you from Canyon Village Lodge up to a mountain plateau. Enjoy a breath-taking view of the vast plains adjacent to the canyon, by seeing some of the animals that roam the area, and end at ‘Archway Rock’. We will head back to camp in the afternoon and free time before dinner.

Day 10 & 11

Aus / Luderitz

Today we head towards the town of Aus. In the afternoon we will go to the famous waterhole and try to spot the famous Wild Horses of Namibia. The following day we will leave towards the Ghost Town of Kolmanskop before stroling in the afternoon around the coastal town of Luderitz. Return to Aus at the end of the day

Days 12 & 13

Namib Desert

Today go into the soul of Namibia, the Namib Desert. The oldest desert in the world and home to the most magnificent dunes in Africa. We proceed toward our campsite where we will be staying for two nights. Enjoy the rest of the day at camp before having dinner under the stars. On day 13 we will take the time to explore this area where we will first climb the famous Dune 45 to catch the sunrise, followed by a walk between the trees of the famous Deadvlei and admire the biggest dune of the Namib desert Big Daddy, ending our adventure at the Sesriem Canyon.

Days 14 & 15

Swakopmund

On this day we will be heading towards the adventure capital of the country, Swakopmund. Upon arrival we will do an orientation tour of the small city and then take you to one of the adventures centre where you will be able to book your optional activities for the following day. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon by talking a walk-in town before going to a restaurant for dinner. Day 15 is a free day for activities or to relax.

Day 16

Windhoek / Naankuse Centre

After our breakfasts we will head back to Windhoek but this time we will stay at the Naakuse main lodge. The Naankuse Foundation is a conservation charity dedicated to preserving the landscapes, cultures and wildlife of Namibia. Originating as a small wildlife sanctuary nestled in the Namibian bush, Naankuse is now a world-famous conservation organisation. The Naankuse Foundation Wildlife Sanctuary provides a safe haven and second chance for countless injured, orphaned and conflict animals. Wherever possible our aim is to release animals back into the wild. After our lunch we will embark in one of the conservation activities. Dinner at the lodge.

Day 17

Departure day

Today we say goodbye. After breakfast you will be taken to the Windhoek Hosea Kutako airport for your flight back home. Travel safe and thank you for have chosen us for your safari experience. May you go well.
