On this tour we will be doing some hiking.




Day 1 Introduction:
On this day you will be picked up from the Windhoek airport and taken to your accommodation. This day is a day of leisure, either to relax or to go and explore the capital of Namibia, you will only need to be ready for your brief that will taking place at 18h at your guest house.
You will be introduced to your guide before he/she starts explaining in detail the itinerary of the tour and also answer all of your questions. Dinner will be at the guest house at your own expense.

Days 2 – 3 Namib Desert:
We leave the capital to go deep into the soul of Namibia, the Namib Desert. The oldest desert in the world and home to the most magnificent dunes in Africa. We will take the time to explore this area on our second day where we will first climb the famous Dune 45 and enjoy the sunrise, followed by a walk between the trees of the famous Deadvlei while admiring the biggest dune of the Namib desert Big Daddy, continuing afterwards towards Sossusvlei and ending our adventure at the Sesriem Canyon.

You will have the option to do a scenic flight over the desert on our day of arrival (day 2) and an air balloon ride early in the morning on day 4

Days 4 – 5 Swakopmund:
We make our way towards the cute little town of Swakopmund, known for being the adventure capital of Namibia. Upon our arrival you will have the opportunity to book your optional activities for the following day.
The rest of the day will be at leisure, either to relax by the sea, or by taking a walk in the city center. Dinner will be in a local restaurant in town at your own expense.

Day 6 Brandberg:
Today we leave the coastline to head towards the highest mountain in Namibia, the Brandberg Mountain. But before, we will be making a stop at Cape Cross to see the famous seal colony on our way.
Brandberg Mountain, meaning the mountain of fire, which it’s the highest mountain of country, with its highest point, the Königstein at 2,573 m.
Our accommodation for one night will be at the edge of this majestic mountain, in the region of Damaraland, home to the elusive desert elephants. If we are lucky we might see them roaming free along the dry Ugab River bed near our lodge.
After lunch and after checking in, we will embark into our afternoon walk to go and admire the famous bushman painting of the White Lady.

Days 7 – 8 Palmwag:
We continue towards the North of the country, making our first stop at Twyfelfointein, where we will take a short walk to admire these famous rock engravings dating back almost to 2000 years. We will then head towards the Palmwag conservancy, a magnificent area in the north west of Damaraland, where the predator population is the largest outside of the Etosha National Park. The following day we will leave on a full day excursion, hoping to see some of the many wild animals that roam in this area.

Days 9 – 10 Epupa Falls:
We head to the Northern part of Namibia next to the border with Angola, to the famous Epupa Falls in the Kunene valley. “Epupa” means in the language of the Himba “falling water”. An amazing scenery surrounded with Lala palms and baobab trees lining in the riverbed. On our arrival you will have the opportunity to do a sundowner overlooking the Falls.
The following day we will visit a local Himba village, where you will get the chance to interact and learn from this interesting ethnic group. In the afternoon we will embark into a guided walk around the area to enjoy the landscape and if we are lucky we will get to spot some of the wildlife that surrounds the area.

Day 11 Kamanjab:
Today is a transit day before reaching Etosha National Park.
We will stop on the way and have the rest of the day at leisure.

Days 12 – 13 – 14 Etosha National Park:
We then continue towards the biggest park of Namibia, the Etosha National Park. In the language of the Ovambo tribe, Etosha means ‘great white place’, with its dry pan that’s 130 km’s long and up to 50km’s wide in places, it is comfortably the largest salt pan in Africa and is the park’s most distinctive and dramatic feature, visible even from space.
We will be spending our next three days doing game drives, finding the best wildlife sighting and watching the most dramatic sunsets.

Day 15 Windhoek:
After our last morning game drive in the park we will head back towards the capital of the country. Along the way we will stop at the famous Okahandja Mbangura Woodcarvers Craft Market. Buying local products helps to provide and sustain local artists and Namibian communities.
We will then check into our guesthouse where you will have time to relax before going out for dinner and enjoying our last meal as a group at the famous restaurant Joe’s Beer House.

Day 16 Airport:
On day 16 your guide will be taking the group to the airport of Windhoek Hosea Kutako Int. End of our services.
