On this tour we will be doing some game walks.




Day 1 Livingstone:
On the first day of our adventure you will be picked up at the Livingstone airport and you will be taken to our accommodation which lies next to the mighty Zambezi river. After settling into your room you will be briefed by your guide about the itinerary.

She/he will also be able to answer all of your questions. Afterwards, you will be shown a dvd with all the optional activities that you can do the following day (day 2 of the tour). We will then head towards the Victoria Falls where we will enjoy a walk through at the edge of the Mosi oa Tunia ‘’Smoke that Thunders’’, a World Heritage site.

Day 2 Livingstone:
This is a free day for everyone. Enjoy spending your day by doing your optional activities or simply by relaxing next to the pool of the lodge admiring the mighty Zambezi.

Day 3 Caprivi Strip:
On this day we make our way into Namibia where we will be spending the next 4 days discovering what the Caprivi Strip has to offer. Our first stop will be next to the shores of Kwando river where we will get to enjoy an afternoon boat cruise, hoping to see some of wildlife that lives in the area, it is a nice time to relax and enjoy the sunset.

Days 4 – 5 Caprivi Strip:
We continue our journey towards the Kavango area. Our lodge for the next two nights lies next to the Kavango River which is the name given to the Okavango River on the Namibian side. We will spend our next two days doing game drives in the Mahango Game Reserve, the afternoon a sundowner boat cruise on the Kavango waters where your experience guide will highlight the magnificent wildlife that is in the area and offer you a fantastic birding opportunity.

Day 6 Rundu:
On this day we continue towards our last stop in the Caprivi area, the town of Rundu. Our accommodation for one night will be facing the border of Angola which is separated by the Kavango River. After settling into our lodge, we will do a cultural tour where we will get to visit one of the villages of the area so that we can get in touch with the traditional people and learn more about their culture and way of living.

Day 7 – 8 – 9 Etosha National Park:
We now start entering into one of the driest parts of Namibia, where our first stop will be at the Hobas Meteorite, the largest intact meteorite on earth which its impact is thought to have occurred more than 80,000 years ago and it is estimated to weigh 60 tons.

We then continue towards the largest park of Namibia, the Etosha National Park. In the language of the Ovambo tribe, Etosha means ‘great white place’, with its dry pan that’s 130 km’s long and up to 50km’s wide in places, it is comfortably the largest salt pan in Africa and is the park’s most distinctive and dramatic feature, visible even from space.

We will be spending our days doing game drives, finding the best wildlife sighting and watching the most dramatic sunsets.

Day 10 Kamanjab:
We leave the ‘great white place’ to go towards the Kunene region, home to the Himba ethnic group. After settling into our camp we will get the opportunity to go to a Himba village with a local guide and learn from this beautiful ethnic group that has been surviving against modern society for centuries.

Day 11 Brandberg:
We leave the Kunene region to go more deep into this vast dry land. We will visit the famous rock engravings in Twyfelfointein, one of Namibia’s World Heritage sites, done by the san people roughly 2000 years ago. We then continue towards the Brandberg Mountain, meaning the mountain of fire, which it’s the highest mountain of country, with its highest point, the Königstein at 2,573 m.

Our accommodation for one night will be at the edge of this majestic mountain, in the region of Damaraland, home to the elusive desert elephants. If we are lucky we might see them roaming free along the dry Ugab River bed near our lodge. You will have the afternoon to relax. Enjoy the pool with the amazing view towards the mountain of fire, and enjoy a breath taking sunset before dinner.

Days 12 – 13 Swakopmund:
An early start await us as we will embark into a 5km walk to go and the see the ‘White Lady’ rock painting in the Brandberg mountain. Then we will continue to the Atlantic shores to make a stop at Cape Cross, where we can find one of the biggest seal colonies of Namibia in the Skeleton Coast, before heading towards the adventure capital of the country, Swakopmund.

Upon arrival we will do an orientation tour of the small city and then take you to one of the adventure centers where you will be able to book your optional activities for the following day. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon by talking a walk in town before going to a restaurant for dinner.

Day 13 is a free day for activities or to relax. Note that lunch and dinner are at own expense

Day 14 – 15 Namib desert:
We leave the Atlantic shores to go deep into the soul of Namibia, the Namib Desert. The oldest desert in the world and home to the most magnificent dunes in Africa. We will take the time to explore this area on our second day where we will first climb the famous Dune 45 and watch the sunrise, followed by a walk between the trees of the famous Deathvlei and admire the biggest dune of the Namib desert Big Daddy, ending our adventure at the Sesriem Canyon.

You will have the option to do a scenic flight over the desert on our day of arrival. On day 16 you will have also the opportunity to do the Air Balloon ride as an optional activity.

Day 16 Windhoek:
Today we leave the eastern coastline to go back to the capital of the country. We will have lunch in town and we will visit the Omba Art center where you will be able to appreciate the local hand work of many communities in Namibia. Buying local products helps to provide and sustain for these Namibian communities.

We will then check into our guesthouse where you will have time to relax before going out for dinner and enjoying our last meal as a group. Tour ends after dinner.

Day 17 end:
